Time Zero Earns a 5-Star Review from YA Books Central

Our client Carolyn Cohagan's YA dystopian novel Time Zero earned a 5-star review from YA Books Central.

The novel follows Mina, a fifteen-year-old girl living in a future Manhattan walled off and ruled by religious extremists, where girls are forbidden an education and married off without a say in the matter. Cohagan builds the world by drawing on real religious practices found around the world today rather than inventing something purely speculative, which is part of why reviewers keep describing the book as uncomfortably plausible rather than purely futuristic. Time Zero is the first in a trilogy and has gone on to win several literary honors since its release.
