EVENTS

Covid-19 has been a major player in rewriting the landscape and role of events for authors, storytellers, and changemakers looking for ways to connect with their audience. Virtual events have proliferated and aside from leading platforms like Zoom and Crowdcast, a bounty of creative services have popped up allowing us to connect in virtual space. In fact, virtual events have shown a lot of advantages: ease of production, ease of scheduling and bringing together people from all over the globe for a worldwide audience, and with that a much larger potential for exposure, ticket sales and book/product sales.

In addition to traditional bookstore events, author signings, and launch parties, we developed Wildbound Live, a fully immersive, TV quality virtual and hybrid event platform for global audiences. We have taken book/product sales to a completely new level. Several of our events have raised tens of thousands of dollars in sales and donations, with a handful raising hundreds of thousands. The formula we’ve been using has been a game-changer for many of our clients.

For most of our events, we create various assets and collateral to help promote the event - elements that live on after the event has finished, continuing to build and drive word of mouth and awareness. Below are a few examples of short “teasers” we produced to help generate interest for our events:

So why even go back to physical events?

Well...it's a human thing. The yearning for togetherness. There is just something about sitting in a room full of people, experiencing the physical connection of being together in one space. There is a sense of reality, energy, and dimensional groundedness that is just irreplaceable. In our opinion, there should be a place for both virtual and physical events in your campaign. We have been producing both physical and virtual events, and in the future, we will be producing more “hybrid” events (an event that is both physical and virtual at the same time) to take advantage of both worlds for our clients, utilizing bookstores, libraries, literary & cultural & arts organizations, art galleries, schools and colleges, restaurants, museums, ski shops, and the great outdoors, anywhere we feel is relevant, timely, and exciting to our audiences. Formats range from solo appearances to 2-3 person conversations, to walks in the forest, to slideshows, to complex multi-visual experiences. There is no specified set of rules to follow! If it excites us, we'll make it happen.
